Flags in Newport

It is very common to see the Vermont state flag flying together with both the Canadian and US flags. It's not quite another country up here, but almost.

As we were sitting along the waterfront in Newport, looking north across Lake Memphremagog at the mountains in Canada, this beautiful fellow joined us for a bit. All of were happy about the gorgeous summer-like weather.
