Last Thursday was a beautiful day for a hike in the woods around Duxbury. With Stick Season underway, there are still some lovely patches of color to enjoy.

Country Store Tour - Lake Elmore
The only visible retail business in beautiful Lake Elmore, Vermont, the Elmore Store has been in continuous operation since the early 1800s and also serves as the town's post office, gas station, and the Fire Warden's office. It sits along the shore of beautiful Lake Elmore and across the street from the one-room Elmore School. Best feature: a huge wheel of Cabot Cheddar from which customers can slice wedges to take home.
